By accessing or using the LeadBoard.ie website at www.leadboard.ie (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LeadBoard.ie. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform" — the LeadBoard.ie website and all associated services.
  • "Customer" — any individual or entity that submits a job request or lead through the Platform.
  • "Professional" — any individual or business that registers on the Platform to receive and claim leads.
  • "Lead" — a job request submitted by a Customer, including their contact details and project requirements.
  • "Subscription" — the recurring monthly membership purchased by a Professional to access leads.
  • "User" — any person who accesses the Platform, whether as a Customer, Professional, or visitor.

3. Description of Service

LeadBoard.ie operates as a lead-generation and introductory platform that connects Customers seeking home, trade, and professional services with independent service Professionals across all 32 counties of Ireland.

LeadBoard.ie is not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between a Customer and a Professional. We do not employ, endorse, guarantee, or warrant any Professional listed on the Platform. We act solely as an intermediary facilitating introductions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Professionals must hold any licences, insurance, or registrations required by Irish law to provide the services they offer. It is the sole responsibility of the Professional to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

5. Customer Terms

5.1 Submitting a Lead

Customers may submit job requests through the Platform at no charge. By submitting a lead, you consent to your contact details (name, email, phone number, Eircode) and project description being shared with up to 5 Professionals who cover your area and service type.

5.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that you will receive responses from Professionals, that quoted prices will be honoured, or that the work performed will meet your expectations. Any engagement with a Professional is entirely at your own risk and discretion.

5.3 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, and any applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

6. Professional Terms

6.1 Account Registration

To access leads, Professionals must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current business information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

6.2 Subscriptions and Payment

Access to leads requires a paid monthly subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Subscription tiers and pricing are displayed on the Platform and may be updated from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increases to existing subscribers.

6.3 Lead Usage

Each lead may be claimed by a maximum of 5 Professionals. Leads are provided as introductions only. We do not guarantee that any lead will result in paid work, and we bear no liability for leads that do not convert.

6.4 Professional Conduct

By using the Platform as a Professional, you agree to:

  • Respond to leads promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate quotes and honest information
  • Hold all necessary insurance, licences, and certifications
  • Comply with all applicable Irish and EU laws and regulations
  • Not use lead contact details for unsolicited marketing unrelated to the original request

6.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods unless required by law.

7. Prohibited Conduct

All Users agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform using automated means
  • Post or transmit offensive, defamatory, or harmful content
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Platform
  • Use lead data for purposes other than responding to the specific job request

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design — is the property of LeadBoard.ie or its licensors and is protected by Irish and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law:

  • LeadBoard.ie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to LeadBoard.ie in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the actions, omissions, quality of work, or conduct of any Professional or Customer
  • We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LeadBoard.ie, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if continued use poses a risk to the Platform or other Users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

12. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

13. Dispute Resolution

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Force Majeure

LeadBoard.ie shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet disruptions, or third-party service outages.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LeadBoard.ie in relation to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and arrangements.
